Overview

Empower Services supports several hospice and home healthcare organizations with customized back-office operations and consulting services. They specialize in solutions tailored to home-based care provider needs, which includes managing a fleet of more than 260 vehicles across partner companies. These vehicles are used daily by clinicians traveling to patient homes, healthcare facilities, and administrative locations.

But managing fuel expenses across multiple teams and regions proved increasingly difficult with their previous provider, WEX. Empower needed a solution that could cut down on fraud, simplify reporting, and give branch-level insights. RoadFlex delivered all that—and more.

The Challenge

Before RoadFlex, Empower utilized WEX cards—but the experience came with major pain points:

Ury shared, “WEX was very antiquated. The reporting was hard to look at, and their gas station list was just bad. It was non interactive, just names and addresses in a huge list.”

The Solution
